Email Configuration - Microsoft Outlook 2010

To connect to Redundant Email Server (IMAP not supported), just change the POP Incoming Mail Server & SMTP Outgoing Mail Server shown in Step 6 below.

1. Click Start > All Programs > Microsoft Office 2010 > Outlook 2010 and click on it.




2. Once you have done the previous step, you will be seeing the below screen. Click Next.



3. Select Yes and click Next.



4. Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types on the below screen and click Next.



5. Select Internet E-mail on the below screen and click Next.



6. Once you have done the above. Please fill your particulars as following from the user request form provided

    Your name = User Full Name
    E-mail address = Provided Email address ( This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. )
    Account Type = POP3
    Incoming Mail server = mail.domain.com (pop.twdor.biz to connect to Email Redundant Server)
    Outgoing Mail server = mail.domain.com (smtp.twdor.biz to connect to Email Redundant Server)            Username = Email address above ( This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. )

    Password = Password provided
    Please tick the Remember Password
   
    Note: IMAP is not support.

7. Once you have filled up all the details please click on More Settings.




8. After you have done the above steps you should see the below windows. Click on Outgoing Server.

After you have followed the above steps please tick the My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and Use same settings as my incoming mail server.



9. Once you have done the above, please click on Advanced tab and kindly change the Outgoing server (SMTP): to 587 as seen in the image below. Select Ok when you are done changing.



10. When you are done with the above select Next. It will go to Test Account Settings as below. If the information provided is correct, it will show result as below:



11. Finally, it will prompt for Congratulation page, and you are done with the Email Setup in Outlook 2010. Click Finish.
