Email Configuration - iPhone (IMAP)


1. Press to select “Settings” from your iPhone main screen.



2.Select “Mail, Contact, Calendar”from the Setting Menu. 



3.Select “Add Account”from the Menu. 



4.Select “Others”, located at the bottom of the list. 



5.Select “Add Mail Account”from the Menu. 



6. Enter the following information in the spaces provided and select “Next”.
• Name: Your full first and last name, as you want it to be displayed in the emails you send.
• Address: Enter your full email address (e.g., This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ).
• Description: Enter a descriptive name for your account (e.g., My Work Account, User email). This description will be visible only to you.




7. Choose IMAP as shown in below picture from the left. On the next screen, in both the Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server sections, enter the following information:
• Host Name: Enter the name of the secure email server: secure.emailsrvr.com
• User Name — Enter your full email address (e.g., This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ).
• Password — Enter the password associated with your email account




8.Click “Next” after you enter all information. Now the screen show “Verifying” your email account information. After verify account information, it will prompt “Cannot Connect Using SSL” (as shown in screen below), select “Yes”



9.Click “Save” button. 



10. You will be returned to the Mail, Contacts, Calendars screen. Click the name of the account you just created.



11. Scroll to the bottom of the screen, and click the “Advanced” button.




12. In the Mailbox Behaviors section, you can “map” your iPhone email mailboxes to the associated folders stored on the email server.
For each of the following mailboxes, click the arrow next to the folder name. A new window will appear, where you can select the associated “On the Server” folder:
• Drafts Mailbox — Select “Drafts”
• Sent Mailbox — Select “Sent”
• Deleted Mailbox — Select “Trash”

13. After completing these steps, you should be able to Send and Receive email successfully.
